US Healthcare Debate

Last year saw the release of ‘Medicine Man: the Stan Brock story’, a documentary I worked on about the extraordinary British-born Amazonian cowboy turned US TV star, who took on the US healthcare crisis through the creation of Remote Area Medical.

A couple of weeks ago, in collaboration with Cleveland Film Festival and the Center for Health and Democracy, this great conversation, about the broken US healthcare system, took place. It features healthcare reform activist Wendell Potter, Remote Area Medical CEO Jeff Eastman, director Paul Michael Angell and former Ohio State Senator and Congressional candidate for Cleveland Nina Turner, and also cameos from several RAM patients and volunteers.
